The WYNN ROD1.0 is a classically designed 28-inch road bike for sporty rides on paved roads. The lightweight aluminium frame combines low weight with a stable construction, supporting a direct and agile riding experience. With a total weight of around 12.5 kg, narrow road bike tyres and sporty geometry, the bike is suitable for both extended tours and fast rides in urban areas.
Well-designed equipment for sporty riding
The WYNN ROD1.0 features proven road bike components. The 28-inch wheels are equipped with aluminium double-wall rims, while the rigid fork ensures direct power transfer and precise handling. The aluminium crankset features two chainrings with 34 and 48 teeth respectively. Combined with the 7-speed SHIMANO MF-TZ21 freewheel with 14 to 28 teeth, this provides a versatile gear range for different speeds and gradients.
Classic road bike handlebar for a sporty riding position
The classic steel drop handlebar emphasises the sporty character of the WYNN ROD1.0. Its typical curved shape offers several hand positions, allowing riders to change their grip during longer rides. At the same time, the lower grip position enables a more aerodynamic riding posture. The integrated SHIMANO SL-A050 gear/brake lever combination allows both gear changes and braking to be operated conveniently from the handlebar.
14-speed SHIMANO Tourney derailleur system
The road bike is equipped with a 14-speed SHIMANO derailleur system. Both the rear derailleur and front derailleur are from the SHIMANO Tourney series. The combination of two chainrings at the front and seven sprockets at the rear provides a total of 14 gears, allowing the gear ratio to be adapted to different riding situations. Gear changes are made via the SHIMANO SL-A050 integrated gear/brake levers directly on the drop handlebar, allowing the rider to keep their hands in a controlled riding position while shifting.
Aluminium caliper brakes for controlled braking
The WYNN ROD1.0 is equipped with classic aluminium caliper brakes at both the front and rear. This type of brake is widely used on road bikes and is characterised by its comparatively low weight and direct operation. The brakes are operated via the SHIMANO SL-A050 integrated gear/brake levers on the drop handlebar. This allows both braking and shifting functions to be controlled conveniently using the same controls, providing practical and intuitive handling, especially during sporty riding.
